I really fell in love with the new quick search. However, if I want to search a certain movie or song with my mobile phone, it takes hours to find it. On top of that (at least for Android) it is not possible to search a certain song (https://forums.plex.tv/discussion/210865/search-by-song-title-broken-in-android-app). Thus, i think a new search would really improve those clients.
