I am hoping someone can help me. I have used httpfox and the strm tool (from plex) to try and create strm files to stream HSN and QVC to my Plex Mac Mini. Every time I try and open them, I get “error cannot open file” and when I check the logs, there is a HTTP 503 error. I have tried youtube as well… to no avail.
I would really like to have a plug-in for QVC/HSN, but in lieu of that, I thought I could get this done with .strm files.
I am relatively new to Plex, so if anyone can help me out, I would appreciate it.
Can anyone help me with some sample strm files that are working? Maybe help me to figure out how to stream HSN/QVC? Anyone? 
If all you’re looking to do is be able to watch the live stream from HSN/QVC, then a very basic plugin with a site configuration file should allow you to do that. There’s a plugin kickstarter and documentation to get you started at dev.plexapp.com.
I have checked that out… maybe I missed something… can you be more specific as far as a link I should try out?
