Hello all,
I have installed Plex on my Raspberry Pi 3 (Model B Rev 1.2) using the following tutorial:
Other forum posts have suggested that the “change the user from plex to pi” step is incorrect, so I’ve skipped that step, but apart from that I’ve followed all steps re updating, restarting, etc.
I open 127.0.0.1:32400/web/ in Chromium on the Pi, and get the Plex logo. (The first time I did this I got the login prompt, so I logged in using my Plex account - I haven’t been prompted to log in again since then so I assume I am logged in correctly.) After a short pause I get what looks like the main Plex interface start to load in the browser - the nav strip at the top appears, a left-hand nav starts to appear, and there’s a message “you have an unclaimed server” near the top of the main content area.
However, before the page has time to build any further, the screen is replaced with the “How Plex Works” splash page - the one with the basic intro and the “Got it!” button at the bottom. I click “Got it” and immediately get a “Aw snap! Something went wrong while displaying this web page” browser screen.
I try reloading the :32400/web/ URL but just get the same thing each time. I’ve tried restarting PMS via the command line, power cycling it, etc, but no joy. If I manage to click on one of the icons in the main screen top nav (I have to be really quick before they disappear), I still get the “How Plex Works” screen.
Here are the last 40 lines of the log, the last time I tried this:

Permissions on the library folder are as follows and seem to be correct to my untrained eye:
pi@raspberrypi:~ $ ls -ahl /var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library
total 12K
drwxr-xr-x 3 plex plex 4.0K Sep 7 18:06 .
drwxr-xr-x 3 plex plex 4.0K Sep 7 18:06 …
drwxr-xr-x 3 plex plex 4.0K Sep 7 18:06 Application Support
So… any ideas? I have a NAS on my network which I will want to use to hold the media files eventually, but obviously that’s no good to me unless I can actually get PMS to run in the first place. Any assistance gratefully received…
