I am going to try and give enough info here and I apologize if I do not.
I have a Pi 4 with 4 gig of ram class 10 sd card running buster, then Open media vault 5, then docker and then portaina. Plex finds all the art work and looks grate, but only about 50% of my movies play. I am on a local cat 5 net work. and i am just one user. what happens is the wheel just spins. I can play the movies with VLC player this is the info from the file that will play,
and this is the info from one that will not play.
Any help at all would be very much appreciated, as i said i am playing on a local hard wired net work one file at a time. the ones that play play perfectly, the ones that do not just never start. Thank you.
I’ll have to take a guess here. It may be that the movies that will play play directly, and the ones that won’t play require transcoding which may be broken in some way.
Questions:
In your docker configuration, what is the host path you assigned to the container path /config ?
Is the hard drive identified in the host path above mounted with the exec option in OMV? Look in /etc/fstab for this.
