Dear all, after an interresting time switching clients / switching servers (from pley to emby and then switching back; yes plex is the better option for me…) I finally installed a two client set-up with raspi 2 clients hooked to the TV’s.
I use a multi user configuration to be able to keep my little girls away from movies not for their age. The main user has a pin, the others don’t.
To my issue: I would like to enter that pin directly by pressing the number keys of my remote. But in this input field, these numbers are not recognised.
To my setup: both raspi’s have the “RemotePi Board” from MSL Digital Solutions and I use the black remote control from their web shop. The remote is working graet - no other funktion / key is missing or not working. And the number keys are recognized e.g. when I whatch a movie and press them to jumt directly to 35:00.
Anny suggestions, what I could try?
It is not a huge thing, but it would make my live easier, as selecting the pin numbers via the (remote controled) cursur keys work, but doing it like that, one actually sees see what I chose …
