I’m currently using Kodi with plexkodiconnect on my RPi3 with no end of buffering issues, so am thinking of switching to RasPlex. One of the best features of Kodi is the Photo screensaver. Can anyone tell me if RasPlex is capable of showing photo’s on the screensaver?
I have RasPlex 1.6 running on a RPi1 without any buffering issues, but I can’t seem to get the screensaver option to stay on Photos, it keeps resetting to FanArt.
It is capable, worked fine for me.

Sorry croneter I’ve already wiped the SD and installed RasPlex and no buffering issues now. I was also getting micro dropouts on music every minute or two with Kodi, that’s all gone too with RasPlex.
I do have an issue with the photo screensaver, i was running for a few hours, must have come across a photo it didn’t like then stopped. Then it would only show fanart (despite the setting being still on photos). I had to reset the screensaver options to get it to shows photos again.
Can I access the logfiles from a windows machine to see if I can find out what caused it to fail?
