My rpi2 has been running plex just fine for a long time but I’m starting to see some issues lately…
first of all it randomly turns on the TV once in a while like plex reboots or somehow sends a signal to the tv that there’s active content playing.
Also the settings I use on Rasplex seem to disappear when I reboot so I have to set stuff like video calibration, language, timezone etc. etc every time.
I just updated to 0.7.1 earlier tonight… Watched some shows… all seemed good.
Turned off the TV and Receiver and went upstairs. I come down 15 minutes later and the TV and receiver are back on showing a non-dimmed (default screensaver setting) PHT/RasPlex listing… The same one I was looking at when I shut off the TV/Receiver awhile ago.
So I turned the TV & Receiver back off thinking I was losing my mind, grabbed a drink from the kitchen and lo and behold, I come back past the living room and the TV and Receiver are back on again.
There’s definitely something funky going on… (That and I apparently need to really remap my PS3 Bluetooth BD Remote - a lot of buttons are broken now)
I don’t know if my issue is fixed but first time I upgraded, I just stuck the SD card in my PC, and formatted the partition (not the whole card) and used getrasplex to burn the new 0.7.1 image…
After the above issues I again formatted but this time I formatted the whole card (using partition wizard)… rasplex splits up the card in 2 partitions… I don’t know if the 2nd is being used.
So with a completely formatted card I again used getrasplex and created a new copy of 0.7.1…
so far… no issues… apart from some subs being WAY off… but that doesn’t have to relate to rasplex it self…
So maybe try what I did and see…
I still won’t say that I’m issue free but something seems to have improved…It saves my settings, stays logged in, hasn’t turned on TV yet…

I saw the other topic, but because it was a change between 0.7.0 and 0.7.1 I thought it warranted mentioning. I can solve it if I basically disable all HDMI-CEC entirely, but that’s not ideal either.
