Rasplex reboot/restart function

Is there any way to reboot a rasplex RPi without establishing an SSH connection and typing "reboot"?  Sometimes my RPi starts to slow down over a few weeks and it's nice to be able to give it a quick reboot which normally speeds up navigating tv shows etc again in the menu.

If not please take this as a feature request.

Thanks

I second the feature request, would be useful (if not used that often).

I'm sure that such a reboot feature can be added through skin customization, without modifying any real program code.

The reason I'm so sure of that is because one of the custom skins already has such a command implemented.

The Amber skin will open a submenu when you use its quit command, where you can then choose between different ways of terminating your session.

You can even configure that menu to contain only those termination methods you prefer (eg: "sleep" is not useful on RPi, as it lacks any 'waking' method)

For my setup I have chosen to keep the methods "Shutdown" and "Reboot" in Amber's "Quit" submenu, and that reboot command works fine.

I'm not 100% sure of how compatible this skin is with the very latest PHT changes, but it's definitely one of the most interesting skins right now.

Note however that the current Amber version is intended for recent PHT versions, so it will only work with the "experimental" or "testing" versions of RasPlex, but not with the stable releases, since those are based on MUCH older versions of PHT. For those versions you will need a much older version of Amber (possibly v1.5.2 or older).

Get yourself one of these - http://msl-digital-solutions.myshopify.com/products/remotepi-board

I did, absolutely fantastic, use any old remote or use your Harmony, etc, (I have a Philips Pronto) and forget about flakey CEC.

Only took six days to arrive from Thailand, it's a quality made board, highly recommended for a Rasplex Pi.

Regards.

Man, I'd love one of these, but it wouldn't fit in my Pi case, which I like very much, nor would it fit into any of the standard Pi cases out there.

What I'd *really* like is for CEC to work better.

Fits in my standard case, bought from Amazon for a fiver, no problem, just drilled a hole in the top and side as indicated on the site, although I doubt it would fit in a Pimoroni!

Regards.
