Rasplex - Wifi configuration in command line

Hi,
I have a small issue.
I am trying to configure the wireless connection through the TV but my Wifi password is too long and I can’t be connected to my wireless router (error).
I tried to modify and put a simple password to my SSID and no problem to configure RasPlex but I don’t want this solution (not enough secure according to me).
Is it possible to do it directly on command line ?
I know on some other distribution, we can edit /etc/network/interfaces and put the wireless informations in it.
But I tried this and there is no /etc/network directory and I can’t create it (read-only filesystem).

So I am affraid that the only solution I have is to change my wifi password to a simple one. Is it correct ?

Thanks in advance.

You could try this

Go to “/storage/.cache/connman/” enter the correct wifi connection folder for that connection and modify ‘‘settings’’

There you can change the password once again in plaintext. I would suggest you to first connect with a short password and then change it there to whatever you need

Thanks for your advice.

I “solved” my problem buying a mini wireless keyboard then I was able to type my wifi passcode correctly.
I read that is more a problem of timeout than length or other.
With a simple remote it was sooooo long (and probably timeout from router) but with the mini keyboard, it was perfect.

Thanks again.
