Ive tried the windows installer to get plex on my raspberry pi, but it doesnt show any versions in the drop down and everything else is greyed out.
has anyone come across this and how do i get it to work?

Exact same problem, seeing it in both the windows and the mac installer. Tried on two different macs downloading the installer off rasplex.com and even tried a windows install with the same issue.
Installer didn't work for me either... if you search the forum the dev hasn't had time to update it.
Grab the image file and use http://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/
Should sort you out
