Hi,
Using the TV’s remote over CEC i have FF and RW.
But with the remote pi board and a seperate remote, FF and RW only skips 30 secs etc…
I would like to have real FF and RW via the remote PI.
Any hints / thoughts?

Yes its possible
You just need to make your own remote configuration in keyboard.xml
change StepForward for FastFoward and StepBack for Rewind
here you have a link to a complete xml file and in this forum you can find instructions for building your own if you have any doubt
Could you please help me on my way with that? i edited the xml file and placed it in “userdata/keymaps”
But thats probably not the correct way ??
