When I fast forward at 32x, if I let it go for a while (like 30 minutes into a tv show), then try and stop, it takes a very long time to stop and acts like I’m pressing keys on the remote, when I’m not. This ends up with me being 10 minutes or more off from where I wanted to stop.

Just tested this on my Pi2 running 1.0.2 with a WiFi remote using direct play local network media, and it worked fine. If you’re using CEC or another slower remote setup, your PI probably just isn’t getting the commend processed quickly enough.
I got the same issue but my server is a RPi 2 as well. Maybe its too slow to fast forward at 32x. I am using Wifi-Streaming btw…
