Rebuild Plex Server with Nvidia P400

Hello,
I want to rebuild my Plex Server from scratch.
On my server I have two Nvidia P400

Should I use simple Ubuntu Server 20.04 without or on Docker?

Plex will only use one (default) gpu. It is simpler to install in the base OS but docker will work as well. That gpu will do 1-3 1080p streams or 1 4k.

Ubuntu defaults to a snap install for Plex which you don’t want (no gpu support), download the .deb file from Plex and install.

Thanks for the details. I never was able to make the GPU work with dockers.
Is there a guide that I could follow?

I always have been using the .deb file when installing or updating Plex.
