Recent Movie additions not all showing

HI,

I have recently added 12 movies to my PMS and now the other recent additions are not showing.
It has started showing really old movie additions from years ago and ignoring the other more recent.
It used to work fine before the recent additions.

Windows, Latest version PMS, standalone machine, drobo elite storage unit 6x tb drives.

Hi

To the right of Deepwater Horizon should be my other latest films. They were there until I added the new ones. If I scroll to the right, there are just old films from ages ago and no more recent ones.

i have been both ways and nothing else is there that should be. i do know how to use the arrows and the app :slight_smile:
They were there until i uploaded the newest. The ones you see on the right are very old and i have many more recent and it is not showing them? Really weird

Restarted PC with PMS and the storage restarted.

did start first time with a tag.dll error?

Then another film missing see screenshot

Settings - Server - Library - ‘Empty trash automatically after every scan’
Make that OFF and keep it that way.

click on this arrow until the list doesn’t scroll anymore

Many thanks for the reply.

I have made the change and i can now see more films but, they are still in the wrong order. Was Newest 12 then other new films, then newest 12 then oldest films, then Newest 11 then oldest films and still that way.
Don’t get why that is?

Better but, still have to scroll to other end for other new films.

The movies being recognised as new, was likely a consequence of this checkbox being set.

This might have happened:

  1. (part of) your media storage went down (inaccessible, sleep mode etc pp)
  2. plex performed a library update und removed those files that were inaccessible from the library
  3. on next library update (some of) these files were accessible again, thus they got added ‘As new’

Now that makes sense.

Annoying as i have to go backward to see what I have recently uploaded but, just how it is now I suppose.

I get that but, not sure that you understood what I was saying as that was not happening.

If you numbered the recent films from the left 1-48 that would be as you describe however, 1-12 were there followed by 48-11 so not as should be.

Otto got it and there must have been an issue with my storage unit.
