Recommended NAS

I have a Seagate NAS which it seems is not up to the job and I need a beefier NAS to be able to server up movies to Amazon Fire TV, Windows 10 PCs, various iOS devices and a couple of Android phones - at home and away.

The choices seem endless and quite confusing - so what’s a good make and model for a typical household? We currently have about 600Gb of movies, music and photos but I’m sure that can only get bigger.

Yes there are many many options.
Firstly what is your budget!
And how many streams?
Will you be streaming remotely?
What format is your media?

Your question gets asked once a week .
Search for NAS or upgrade etc etc

Firstly what is your budget!
No idea - I will probably have to compromise once I know what the options are.

And how many streams?
If that means how many users/devices, probably just to the TV and occasionally to an iPad.

Will you be streaming remotely?
Doubtful, so let’s say no.

What format is your media?
The movies are currently in MKV format, music is MP4 and images are all JPG

if you have no idea of your budget go for this -
