Record a series daily at a specific time

Hello,

I record OTA shows and sometimes the same show is shown on the same channel several times per day. These might be the same episodes or different ones. Unfortunately, the show’s I’m recording don’t use the standard “SxxEyy” episode designation. Instead, they come across as “YYYY-MM-DD HH MM SS” which as you can imagine is useless for Plex as it cant determine duplicates.

So, what I would like to do is simply pick a specific time slot from the EPG for the show and have it record that show at that time each day.

I can’t figure out how to get plex to do this. It either wants to record a single episode or all episodes. What I want is all episodes at specific time(s).

Another issue is that if you set up a recording schedule where it records all episodes, but only at a specific time, you can only do it once. What I mean is if the same show is aired at 1am, 2am, and 3am daily and I set up a recording to catch the 1am, there’s no way to tell it to also catch the 3am.

Am I missing something with the plex dvr? What am I doing wrong?
