I just began using the DVR in Plex. I really like it, but when I look at a particular Show, (for example, “Carol Burnett Show”) it will show several upcoming episodes to be aired. I then set the show to record the series, but when I look back at “Recording Schedule” it does not show that any of the episodes are set to record. Can you please help me figure out how to make the recording of television series work.

Did you select new or new and repeat when setting up the recording? Guessing you selected new.
I’ve seen this issue as well.
Sometimes (and I stress “sometimes”) it can help to go into the advanced options for the series recording and toggle channel from “Any” to the specific channel you want (HD or SD channel) and do the same for resolution from “Any” to HD".
I only want HD recordings but sometimes it can work if “Any” is set for resolution but I specify an HD channel.

Well, it was because I chose only “New” instead of “New and Repeat”. My thinking was that I didn’t want duplicate episodes but I guess there is no way to avoid that and will simply delete duplicates.
