Recording status trigger HTTP request

Hi, I would like to know if it is possible to trigger and HTTP when Plex DVR is recording and trigger an other HTTP when in stanby mode.

That would be to trigger my Vera automation system to open a light when recording and turn off a light when Plex DVR is not recording
