Hello – I just update the ID3 tags for many mp3 files. When go to the update item I don’'t see the update ( updated cover art) – I tried refreshing the library bit that did not work
Is there a way to get the (plex) server to read the new tags?
This is, unfortunately, a long-standing bug in Plex. It has been around so long, the workaround has acquired a name, the ‘Plex Dance.’
Bear in mind, this workaround isn’t perfect. If you’ve made manual changes to the tags in Plex, or if you’ve added music tracks to playlists, these changes will be lost.
