@chrno only Hama search in logs, no updates, no crash. I believe it’s not Hama related; do the plex dance
Manually updated to latest version of the agent. Updated the scanner this morning. Using the code you requested me to test a couple of days ago seems to work fine. So not sure what causing the problem. Just seems to get stuck when trying to get metadata.

Same here, and looking at my own logs it looks like it’s getting the metadata, but not downloading any files or applying said data.
I downloaded new scanner but its the same like before… 
now listing show again but not fetching metadata + poster
I dont know whats wrong actually, in plex activieties it says: loading metadata, but he never finishes idk
Maybe its some problem with AniDB?
I dont know much about code but the only error is:

Ive bounced Plex every time I make changes to the agents. Deleted and re-created the library multiple times. Dunno what else I can do. Using old code it works just fine without any issues, but the issue seems to only be present in the latest versions of Hama.
Otherwise I will just stick to the old code until it breaks as its currently working fine for me
edit: forgot to mention only experiencing this with anime (with latest code). Normal movies/series/music is working 100%

the link in post 961. Its working still seems to do something a bit wonky where it will download all the metadata and then as soon as its done start to do it again. Does this a couple of times and then its business as usual. Here is the link below.
Tried version chrno is using, still same problem, strange…
maybe some problem because those are hentais and not anime? x.x

Well ASS atm is deciding to act the same as the normal scanner and lump OP/EDs together and consider them specials. I’ll get some logs now.

actually amsa agent is working… i dont understand it

solved a bug crashing the scanner if a custom mapping file was empty or with invalid xml tags. That should help.
I need new agent logs as prev log show no update function, might be linked to scanner issue

Okay here are my logs with the latest scanner/agent. Don’t know if it helps but I noticed on the latest version it doesnt resolve the series to the anidb id like it usually does (shows the anidb id behind the name in plex before it starts loading metadata)

- I stopped plex.
- Copied back the old code.
- Started Plex.
- Went to library and clicked “update library”.
- It started resolving the anidb ids and loading metadata instantly.
