@ZeroQI @rightcode yeah it’s .bundle no period after however unlike the other bundles i dont get a “show package contents” option to see what’s inside, i guess this is the problem?
@ZeroQI @rightcode yes server restarted
@ZeroQI @rightcode fixed it had to unzip folder then rename folder to HAMA.bundle then change permissions to read and write instead of read
deleted post
Series pull seasons correctly etc episodes names dont seem to pull unless files have the name present or numbered as S0#E##. for those files named with s0#e## summaries are pulled for my absolute files i don’t get names unless i manually add the name into the file name nor do i get summaries. not sure what i’m doing wrong not sure if it is indeed a problem or just a trade off of using absolute numbering anyway attached logs
@dkenpachi the episode name is extracted from the filename by my scanner (Plex default series scanner doesn’t bother, and doesn’t support absolute numbering nor force ids), but the agent assign a guid to the serie, then update the serie with said guid, and will replace these episode titles.
The hama logs show no error but only 1 ep summary. Couldn’t see hte cause but the agent need a fix
I actually am in the process or rewriting it. The latet beta is here for now:
https://github.com/ZeroQI/Hama.bundle/releases/download/Beta/Hama.bundle.2017-04-17.03h49.zip
That should fix it
@ZeroQI will test , have you tried getting the agent on the channel install store/page? not sure if plex would allow channel install of a scanner but the agent inself shouldn’t be too much of a hassle
@ZeroQI works perfectly now gets epi summaries flawlessly as far as i can see
Hi @ZeroQI. One question. Some anime posters seem to not populate on Plex’s mobile app. Would there be a reason for this?
@rightcode if it populate on the Plex Media Server gui ok, it’s a mobile app bug, not an agent nor scanner issue
@dkenpachi Thanks a lot. It took loads of coding and is not finished, but it’s nearly there. The agent and new one can install through the unsupported appstore, but scanner cannot. I can however make an agent setting to install if not present or just install/update if not present… Working on logging currently so they are stored per serie otherwise run 2 or more threads and logs are imbricated from 2 series matching at the same time and un-readable…
So you’re saying this is a Plex problem that Plex itself has to solve with the mobile app? I didn’t have this problem before implementing your agent. I wonder if there is a way for you to recreate / test.
@rightcode if plex media server have the poster, yes. My agent is for the server only. If the server gui hostname:32400 doesn’t display the poster you explained in the worst way possible. if it has the poster then my agent worked…

Did I come off rude? If I did, I apologize. I’m not sure how I explained something “in the worst way possible.”
Maybe this is a little more clear: The posters were displaying on the web interface at https://plex.tv, but they were not displaying on Plex’s app’s (as in clients like iPhone, Android, Roku, etc.). I backed into the issue. Apparently when I clicked the edit button a poster would not display for certain series, despite the posters being visible on the https://plex.tv UI. I refreshed all metadata for each series that had the issue and your agent pulled the posters, which now display when I click “edit” and also on the aforementioned clients.
So now the posters display fine. Did I explain it less horribly now?
@rightcode if… if your pms didn’t have posters neither that would have the worst way to describe it since it would have been a agent and not client issue. Since plex.tv worked my agent did too, so it is a plex and not an agent issue and irrelevant to me… empty trash, remove bundles, optimize database, restart plex, and it may solve or it’s an client bug… if all clients inpacted it’s PMS bug and the aforementionned plex dance would solve…
Yeah I’ll try to clear things out. Thank you.
@rightcode no problem. Had few database corruptions needing cleaning generally due to bad code… it was a conditional complaint, probably a programmer insensitivity… Good luck with that. Back to logging module for scanner and agent to try to have logging file per serie…
@ZeroQI some of the episodes titles are in ■■■ while summaries are English series title English even though main comes first on the options for the agent , i’m assuming main means the library default language? if so it stills pulls ep titles as ■■■ i just put “en” before main and it seems to have pulled al English titles Attack on Titan forceid to tvdbid still pops up in it’s ■■■ name however (easily changed by editing the sort and display title) but just pointing that out
@dkenpachi summaries are in the language selected when creating the library (english by default).
titles (series and episodes have their own order) are in the order set in the agent settings
Main is the main anidb title which is always the x-jat one as well for AniDB, so “en, x-jat, ■■■” or “x-jat, ■■■, en” depending your romaji proficiency…
I am sorry but i do not understand what you mean precisely…
Please state the serie and ep title together with hte serie and ep priority setting in the agent so i reproduce (i guess it is with the beta?)
@ZeroQI yes with beta . cant get it to reproduce.
um let me try to explain better
Boruto Naruto Next Gen - series and summary are in English but episode titles were in Japanese, the same for actually all of my series after installing the beta but i just placed en in front of main in the Serie Language Priority and Episode Language Priority and it worked.
not sure why it was doing that but now if i delete and re-add the library episode titles come in English so cant reproduce it
Attack on Titan keeps matching to its “■■■” name Shinjeki no Kyojin even with forced tvdbid
My Hero Academia matches @ 1st to it “■■■” name (despite the folder having tvdbid) but a fix match works just leaves it with no poster or episode information such as title and summaries attached scanner and hama logs if they help
Hey dkenpachi,
I had similar problems. Sometimes cleaning out the server helps with clean bundles, empty trash, etc. Also sometimes I had to fix match a few times or refresh metadata as a workaround. Nonetheless, I think @ZeroQI is still finishing up the app to clean up some of these things.
