Relay doesn't work

Server Version#: 4.69.1
Player Version#: latest chrome

Hi,
I am a Plex Pass customer and I don’t wish to allow direct access to my Plex windows server from the Internet, so I enabled Relay but it is not working and I need help and I did not find a way to contact support, and I need help.
Thanks.

The Plex relay feature is not going to work what you think it’s for, especially if you plan on having Plex entirely disconnected. You stated clearly that you did not want any connection to your windows machine with Plex SERVER installed but also wanted to access Plex from the internet, which cancels each other out. If you just allow Remote Access and open port 32400 tcp from your router, you can and will have a successful, secure, and private connection between your Plex apps on your devices outside your home. The whole reasoning for Remote Access is to provide a no nonsense, secure, private and direct connection to the server and the contents. Access to any additional parts of your machine are not accessible.

There are other additional ways to go about assigning private urls and other much more complex situations but accessing your media using the apps with remote access turned on will be the easiest way to do so. If you want to go into a more advanced setup, you’ll need to specify what else you intended on doing or how you have your network configured so you can be helped better.

Hi D, for security reasons I don’t wish to allow the whole internet to probe my internal PC using the plex server app - so I wish to use the relay feature, to have plex as an intermediate object that the sever sends the media to and the players connect to - to consume this media
