Remote access issues only for some users

Server Version#:1.42.2.10156

Before 12/11/2025, all remote connections were going direct.
Starting on 12/11/2025, some remote users have been connecting via relay instead of direct.

I see 5 different remote users (2 on roku, 1 on samsung, one on apple tv, one on android) who are now connecting via relay.

Other remote users are still connecting up direct, so I don’t think it’s any issue on my server.

Remote access screen on the server shows “Fully accessible outside your network”

Any hints on where to start troubleshooting?

some additional details: one of the users who was connecting via relay re-tried it a few hours later and connected normally.

No changes to plex server or the networking setup or the windows setup at any point.
