I’ve been remoting into another person’s Plex for years. It’s always worked great. All of a sudden, we’ve been having a lot of buffering issues. However, it’s ONLY with Plex and it’s happening on all my devices (laptop, Roku, SmartTV). I have no issues streaming Amazon, Netflix, YouTube, etc.
Any thoughts? Can AT&T target a certain streaming service and throttle me down? I’ve adjusted the quality of the picture. It sort of works, but the quality is obviously brutal. Any help would be appreciated.
I appreciate the response. While that information is very helpful, the problem really started out of nowhere. Nothing has changed in our network as everything else is working perfectly normal. No setting were changed in my network or in any of my Plex aps.
I’m curious if this is something AT&T may be doing to my speed with Plex specifically. Is this possible?
