Remote Access with Apple Time Capsule

I just joined Plex Pass and trying to set up my Plex Server so I can access my movies when I am not on my home network. However, this is proving to be very complicated. My home network is run by my Apple Time Capsule and several Apple Airport Express. I did some research but I still am unable to enable remote access of the Plex Server. Can someone please point me to the right direction with step-by-step instructions (bonus if with pictures) please? I cannot wait till I can fully utilize my Plex Pass! Thank you kindly.

I don’t have an Express to show that part. But in Airport Utility, are the Expresses set up to Extend the network from the Time Capsule; not create, right? It should be as simple as:

  1. Add a DHCP reservation for the server to lock the IP
  2. Add a port forwarding reservation. Doesn’t matter what port.
  3. In Plex, click Advanced on the network settings. Then enter that port as the “manual port” in the advanced network settings.
