This is really pissing me off. I created 2 Mbps Optimised versions for lots of items so that my friends can remote watch them. But this is useless because every single one of them is still transcoded to SD quality. I realize the culprit is the 2 Mbps cap of the Plex Relay.
Now, why is this limit applied to the optimized feature, provided by Plex, that should overcome this limitation?
If that is not intended for this purpose, then either adjust it to be 1.9999 Mbps or provide another one in between and you can call it “720p version that works on the relay feature”
