the conditions change again, 27.11.2025. media reports, from 2026, plex plans to stop offer remote streaming from my plex server (thats why i bought a lifetime pass), for my family members living remote and have a free plex account. they need a yearly paid remote stream license or a plex paid-license, they wont do this for watching 2 movies per year.. lets go to jellyfin?

Iām not sure what you read, or where, but as a Plex Pass subscriber, these remote access changes do not affect you or users with whom youāve shared your server.

ok sorry, i didnt understand, all clear now.
Iāve seen two people at least asking if they have to get a Lifetime Pass or they can use the normal subscription options. Like, itās the same policy the mobile apps have been using for months now ā just soon to apply to other app types.
