I’ve mistakenly added an “Admin” user to my Plex account thinking I would be able to remove them later, but I’m finding that there’s essentially only ONE admin user, which is now not my own user account.
How can I make the user associated with my account into my admin user again?
You need to leave the Plex Home which you recently joined.
i’m in the same situation. The "admin " is not me/ account holder. Once i leave the home as a regular member, how do i then go back and acquire the admin position in my home

There is nothing you need to actively acquire.
You will be “the lord of your own house”, so to speak, as soon as you leave the other Plex home.
