Remove an unused server from Plex account

Server Version#: 1.19.4.2935-79e214ead
Player Version#: 4.30.2
I have been using Plex on my desktop for quite a long time, streaming my content to my smart TV. Recently I have bought a laptop and I am planning to move from desktop to laptop.

In my attempts to build a steady Windows installation, I had to format my laptop, which I have a Plex Server installation. Now I have finally setup a steady Windows installation, I have installed Plex Media Server one more time. But the previous, failed attempt of a Plex Server still keeps on appearing on my Plex web page. There is no option to remove server, disconnect server, or hide unused server, as far as I can see. Is there actually a way?

And, while we’re at it, in order for the desktop server to disappear as well, in the future, uninstalling media server from my desktop will be enough, am I right?

In Plex Web, go to Settings > Authorized Devices.
Select “Server” from the dropdown to filter the list.
Then remove the old server from the list.

Well, I knew it should have been easy!

Thanks a lot Beckfield, greatly appreciated

You might also have to reset your client apps, to select a new default server for them:
