How are the commercials removed with post processing? Is the video file re-encoded with the commercials cut out or are the files split then the commercials cut out then merged back together like what you can do with MKVmerge?
I ask because some of my recording seem like they are not re-encoded and some seem like they have been re-encoded at a lower quality. Are the original recording stored on the server somewhere so I can compare the pre and post processing files or are then deleted after the post processing?
