Remove unused Certifications

Hi there,

i just moved from Plex Movie (Legacy) to Plex Movie Scanner and all my metadata got refreshed. I had to edit some movies aswell and removed/reloaded some Certifications. Now my filter still shows de/0, de/6, de/12, de/16, de/18 although no more movies have that Certifications (all are changed to 0, 6, 12, 16, 18).

How can i remove those unsed Certifications in Filters? I thought they should disappear when no more matches are in the database. I already pruned old packages and optimized the databases but still no luck.

It worked fine when changing the Genres, but the Certifications seems to be stuck.

They should disappear after a week, during one of the weekly database maintenance cycles.

However, you must also check your Collections, if any one of these still has one of the old age ratings attached to it.

Filter would not make sense when not searching in Collections also. But i crosschecked, no de/xx in Collections as well.

Is there a way to force maintenance? Whats the difference in maintenance compared to prune old packages and optimizing database manually?

Edit: You were absolutely right, its been the collections itself that had the “old” Certifications. Solved, thx :slight_smile:
