Removing content from one library but not another

Hi,

I have the Plex Pass and use it to set up multiple users that all share the same media libraries, but I want to limit the content available on one specific device. I have a Roku TV with it’s own user in my bedroom that my wife and I use, but I don’t want to have everything show on that user, just the stuff we watch. I have tried to set up a specific library just for that user, but whenever I do, it seems to be unable to find all of the media I selected despite the primary library having no issue. For example, if I try to have that library add American Horror Story, instead of having a show directory with individual sub-directories for each season, it adds each season as if it was it’s own folder. This also happens with other shows with multiple seasons but not all of them. It also will lump all of the Season 01 episodes of various shows into one directory (for example American Horror Story, Sons of Anarchy, Archer) and continue this for any additional seasons.

Is there any way to simply hide content from showing on one user account without having to set up an entirely new library for just that account? Or maybe a better way to set up a new library without having to move everything I have into separate folders on my hard drive and re-telling Plex where the media is for the base library?

The basic mechanism is through Library Sharing. You would share a library with the account that you do not want to give it access to all the libraries on the server. See https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201105738-Create-a-New-Share

Server Sharing could be restricted further using ratings or labels - see this support page

With regards to TV Shows and Series, please see the advised naming and folder structure outlined on this support page
