Removing transcoding limits

Hello,

Is there a way to remove realtime transcoding limits ? I am asking because I recently installed the synology-armv7 version in a Jetson Tegra K1 board. This board is at least 4x more powerful that the synology NAS. I have been able to play most of my library but some old versions that are in AVI/mpeg4 says the server is not powerful enough. I have set transcoding to “make the cpu suffer”. I know is capable because when I say optimize in the background it usually does 4.6x. So my question is: is there anyway to remove this transcoding limits?

No. The Armv7 versions don’t have the transcoding ability at all. It’s not a switch. There currently isn’t a version of PMS available for that board.

I can transcode it with the “optimize” command. Also sometimes realtime transcoding kicks in for example in this movie log you can see it in the log I pasted and also when I do a ps I see it

That is only transcoding audio, which will work. You cannot transcode video.
