With the new Godzilla movie coming back to the theaters is black and white it got me thinking what if Plex server had a switch for the clients to render video as black and white scale on content that we choose?
Maybe a certain film or TV show we want to see gray scale so you choose that as a option. As it transcodes it can grey scale it at the same time.
There’s already an existing thread asking for an option to apply image filters to videos in order to display them e.g. as black & white. Please comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes. I’ll therefore close this thread as a duplicate.
