Here is my setup:
PMS running on a mac mini
mac mini connected to a QNAP NAS
QNAP NAS has all my media files on it
I have made customization to the metadata of the media files that PMS is managing
I have set up Collections to group media together
I have about 5 different sub-folders(?) to organize the library
Movies
Movies-Kids
Movies-Holiday
Specials
Sports
Connected to the QNAP NAS is a WD desktop HD that has a backup of all the media files from my NAS.
My NAS died so I will be replacing it. Since my NAS is dead, the WD desktop HD backup is the only access to the actual media files that I have.
My question is - is there a way for me to transfer all the files from my WD desktop HD to the new NAS in such a way that I maintain all my settings and customizations when I point PMS to the new NAS?
