This is probably a stupid question, but is there a way to replace the uniform text for each film’s title with the actual logo for the movie? So say I click on “Back to the Future,” instead of the title displaying in the uniform typeface, it would show the logo for the film?
Nope… Plex won’t do/allow that for you.
I’ve looked into this some time ago when I found out I can download those typed logos from iTunes / Apple’s TV app.
To be fair… I suppose it’ll start look pretty awful if you get all the different logos smashed together among your poster wall.
I imagine you mean when on the card for the film… very much like how Apple Store presents it. I’ve hoped for this feature too.
This and discart are the things that keep me from using the plex frontend for local playback. Kodi handles so much more art than plex (comes at the cost of setup time though).
Given that Plex started as a port of xbmc/kodi, it blows my mind how much less robust the plex desktop frontend is. Different priorities though.
