Replicate Library Structure on Second Server

Server Version#: 1.28.2.6106
Player Version#:N/A

Hi! I have two Windows PC’s running PMS on the same network and sharing the same storage. First server has been up for years and the second server is a new add. How can I replicate the library structure from old to new?

Are you going to replace the old server with the new one?
Then go with this procedure:

No, I want to keep both servers. Thanks though!

There’s no native means within Plex to replicate multiple servers or to keep them in sync.

Are you looking to mirror the playlists, custom metadata ect? or just have the same media on a second server?

if you want option B, just set it up like you did for server 1.

THanks, I’m not trying to keep them in sync.

They already share the same media. I just want to replicate the libraries from the old to the new. I know I can do it manually without issue. Just looking to takethe easy road.

That is the easy road

Part of a server?

Let’s say I want to just replicate the collections for a library from one server to another
Not possible?

I just created a large collection on one server and if I have to do it again I’m pretty sure it’s going to end up not getting done

Rsync can at least keep the media directories synced up.

Found it! com.plexapp.plugins.library will recreate the library structure on a different server.
