I would love the ability to create subfolders for my videos. For instance - creating a folder called Holidays, and being able to have sub folders underneath it for Summer 2019, Winter 2019, etc. I know you can do a work around by setting up as tv, but it ends up being a lot of work.

I would like to be able to create subfolders to organize videos under subject matter. For instance:
BJJ (Martial Art Type) and under this folder would have the different instructors I have series from Renzo (folder)
John Danaher (Folder)
etc.

Sounds like Genres (e.g. Martial Arts - Kung Fu, Martial Arts - BJJ…) and collections (JVCD Martial Art Movies, Renzo Martial Arts Movies…).
Personally I try to use the actor filter but I’m aware it can be hard to find a small list of key actors in the massive list of all actors who could be involved in your movie list. So I suppose moving those into collections can make sense 
Edit: (except of course you prefer having them in a smart playlist → Movies with actor = Renzo)
Basically they are genres, but the problem is under each genre there are multiple instructors teaching the same art so it would be nice to be able to go to that instructor instead of having to look through the 1000 video files that have other instructors in it as well. As for using an actor filter, they aren’t actors but instructors so won’t work
