Sure, here it is. The TV show in question now has a language in the TVMaze API but I used the API to find another you can test with. It is ā€œAlpha Houseā€ and the tvmaze id is 332.

Everything else actually works quite well, this is potentially the last major hurdle before a release! Thanks in advance for any help @mochaka21 :slight_smile:

It was also doing some weird stuff with date based tv shows actually. Certain years get treated as specials for some reason even if their filenames are formatted per the Plex guidelines and sub-foldered in a ā€œSeason 2015ā€ style folder. I donā€™t know if anyone has seen anything like that beforeā€¦

Thank you so much for your effort. As I have been looking for alternative TV database other than Thetvdb agent.

Is it possible to add ā€œLocal Media Assetā€ and ā€œPlex Theme Musicā€ to your agent?

This would help a lot as all of my tv shows have external subtitles (srt), and without local media asset, my subtitles will not show up.

Same goes for Plex Theme Music just just adds plexā€™s theme songs to tv shows.

Issue #2:
Date-based series (talkshows). Iā€™m having trouble getting something like ā€œConan - 2016-01-04.mkvā€ to show up correctly. Iā€™ve had to resort to renaming my talkshows with their season and episode numbers instead to get this agent to work. Iā€™d love to be able to support the date-based conventions shown here. In my testing, I noticed that some years showed up ok while other entire years of a date-based show didnā€™t show up properly.

Please indicate the formats that work and donā€™t would add regex into my Absolute Series scanner

Saw a link to this thread from TVmaze forum. Just wanted to say this would be an excellent feature to the Plex additions. Just a fan here! Sorry to necro this thread.

I believe such an agent would also fix issues many people experience indexing ā€œAmerican Dad!ā€. TVMaze contains the proper episode order.

i cannot believe that this still hasnā€™t been added in, even pyMedusa & other video library managers have already built this inā€¦
