Can we introduce some preferences for the Plex Downloads feature? A directory to output the transcoded Downloads in.
I can have 6 or more users transcoding on my system and normally my “Transcoder Temporary Directory” only contains a few gigs of transcode chunks. No problem there.
This all changes when someone Downloads a show. The same directory gets used, which in my case is a RAM Drive, and it creates a file that is too large to fit in RAM and breaks the Download. Can we introduce a preference for “Download Temporary Directory” or similar?
Also, while suggesting Preferences for DOWNLOADS, can we also have a setting for how many Downloads can happen at the same time?
(Edit: For anyone wondering, I use a 16GB ram drive for my transcoding directory. Normal transcodes results in small files and I never come close to filling the drive. The “Download” feature, however, will temporarily store the entire movie or show in the same directory as “Output.mkv” which results in the drive filling up. Sometimes this file is 25GB or larger, depending on the source content that is being downloaded. I would love for this file to be saved elsewhere)
