TV series have a tendency to pad TV episodes out to an annoying degree, when watched marathon style.
- Intro theme song padding
- Credit theme song padding
- Still frame intros padding, leading into original broadcast from ads
- Still frame credits padding, leading out of original broadcast to ads
- Recap intro padding, of content from previous episodes
The first two of these are basically accounted for. But still frame padding and recap padding are pernicious. Naruto can end up feeling like 90% padding. Though western dramas do this as well.
Could there be controls to account for these specific types of video padding?
