I want to buy a Plex Pass as a gift, it seems people have been asking for this for over a decade but I can’t seem to find a way.

It seems that there is a way to buy some plex products on google play but the price of lifetime seems to be higher ($149 vs $119)

IF one purchases on Google Play can it then be applied to any Plex account and therefore be as close to a way to Gift a lifetime pass as it is possible to get?

Or is there now a method.

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer gift subscriptions for Plex Pass. Any Plex Pass subscription must be started directly on the desired Plex account. It’s something we’d like to be able to offer in the future, but is not currently available. We apologize for any inconvenience.
