Server Version#: last verson befre the crash a day ago

so this past saturday my windows just crashed and no way to repair it without a reinstall.
so i took a backup drive and installed windows on it, i been working on this server 12+ hours (deep clean, reapply thermal paste etc.) after the big stuff was done i rebiult the server and got windows 10 on the drive, now that is all done im down to trying to get access to my old drive so i can pull the app data off of it and hope it will run like nothing happened to it, sadly pulling that data is a time waste with take ownership, trying a new version for the new version of 10, so its doing its proccess now and as i sit and wait lets see if theres a way to use my backup files if i just reinstall everything from scratch, the backup files are in no way in the main drive cause when i was working on plex, i made it push its backups to my second 4TB drive, those files are still there along with my main install of plex on my first 4TB drive, only thing that is missing that i hope will work is the app data thats in the first drive that has windows on it (old drive)
so how do i get the new installed plex see and use those backup files, i hope it will have all my settings and server info back like nothing has changed. or do i just have t re do all the changes that i finished doing like a week ago for movie/show names and pics
Thank you, I look into that, as for file locations and server name, it shouldn’t be a problem, all my drives should be mapped correctly and the server name is all the same, the install file is in my drive that was not the main drive, I got access to my app data and in the process of moving it now, once its in place then I can run the plex media server and see how it will see everything. I can post back how this method is working for me, at this time there is 35 minutes. Left now before all files are moved for the app data, I did make backups incase I need them but holy crap this is large data I am moving, app data plex media server is over 70gb XD
ok it looks like i got everything but i get this here, plex seen where i had everything after re installing it but its not working, i looked at the post and one of the things i may have to deal with is regedit, of is there a simpler way to get the server going
So at this time I’m calling it quits, so I’m done with trying to recover everything like this has past my frustration point, so I’m trashing it and starting over, is there a better method on backing up and restoring or is it not really worth it or doesn’t exist, if it don’t exist or not worth it then why add a backup if it’s just garbage at this point, I have wasted 20hours with no success
Sorry for the rant but I’m just disappointed how all this is setup and complicated:(
