Years ago i had to backup and restore plexserver from one computer to another, and i don’t remember why, but there were a bunch of issues. It was like a 10 or 12 step process.

I’ve always been wanting a backup/restore tool.
open the tool, and click backup now to target path (maybe select what you want backed up)

Then on a new computer you just install media server and then use the restore tool.

Maybe an automatic daily/weekly backup to an external NAS over network
