Restoring PlexMedia Server Libraries from a Backup

Server Version#: 1.24.3.5033
Player Version#:???

I’m new here, so please forgive my lack of knowledge and be kind!I have done a search but couldn’t find anything relevant.

Owing to the incorrect media titling, (e.g. movie “Spooks:The Greater Good” for some unknown reason keeps being re-titled “MI-5”, which is completely incorrect, the movie “The Lies Boys Tell” keeps being re-titled “Take Me Home Again” again for some unknown reason!), lack of recognition of some of my music folders (Ministry Of Sound cd’s incorrectly recognised, multi-million seller cd’s - but incorrectly recognised!!!) and poor poster choices of many of the items in my libraries in the default PlexMediaServer installation I have had to spend hours correcting the errors and unhappy default poster choices for better ones. So if the computer crashes or I decide to distrohop, that means doing the same process all over again. Is there some way I can backup my plex system once I have corrected it and good to reload from the backup if I lose or revise the desktop environment linux system? I am using PlexMediaServer on Debian 11 Bullseye if that helps. Thanks for your time.

I haven’t had occasion to restore a Plex backup, so I can’t speak to how thorough this is, but I’d start here:

thanks. very helpful.
