Return Portrait Grid View for Personal Media Library which was removed in recent update

The personal media library used to display thumbnail in portrait mode which works perfectly for me until a recent update that changed it to landscape. Now all my portrait posters in personal library are displayed as cropped images in landscape. I understand some people would like to have landscape, so can you please add an option in the library settings to control the display mode?

Also, the Nvidia Shield Plex client is now displaying the thumbnail using the background picture instead of the poster picture. Can you please correct that? (It also used to work correctly until a recent update.)

(FYI, as of now, only the Plex app on my iPad can display my personal library grid view correctly in portrait mode just like before.)

There’s an existing feature suggestion to make the poster aspect ratio a configuration option on per library. I recommend you comment/vote in that thread in order to avoid distracting votes/attention.

At present, Plex determines what aspect ratio the posters for a particular thing should be based on what type of library it is. This works great most of the time; music album art tends to be 1:1, movie posters tend to be 2:3, etc. But sometimes it’s kind of obnoxious. For example, posters in Home Videos libraries use the same 2:3 aspect ratio that is normally used for movie posters.
