Seems like the field named tags_star in table metadata_items is populated nicely, but not exposed in neither the webinterface, nor via the API?
Would be nice

Might be that my REQ's ain't something that regulars can relate to, but @ least a ping from somebody stating:
read -> rejected
or better:
read -> considering
or best of all:
read -> in dev queue

I would be in favor of this.
I just recently tried to see what shows William Shatner has been in on my server. Plex only shows him in Star Trek, even though I know he guest started in The Six Million Dollar Man and Mission Impossible which are both in the database. I had to pay a visit to IMDB to find which episode to look up in Plex.
I want the same feature. IMDB has that information, why couldn’t PLEX grab it.
I think they are pulling from thetvdb.com, but it’s the same effect. TheTVDB has guest stars on episodes, but if you look at an individual episodes table data the “tags_star” field is empty. Plex only seems to populate that field for the main series at the top level and not the individual episodes.
Plex is populating the writer field though for each episode, so they are pulling that data.
Might be nice though to have a separate table for tag_gueststar though so when Plex returns search results for TV or Movies, perhaps it can give a completely separate section of links to individual epsiodes for the guest star roles.
