Request: Actors for Episode in Plex for Windows

Please implement the showing of actors for a specific episode in the Plex for Windows app. This feature exists in the iOS app, where it shows the guest actors that are episode specific. For example, in this episode of Family Guy, Fred Willard guest voices

Looking on the Plex for Windows player, I can’t see any information regarding that, and there’s no way I’d be able to pick him out of the series actors, because it’s just a one off. If I pull the same episode up on the iOS app, the guest actors are visible, and it includes all the same additional information, such Tidal tracks.

I’ve seen similar topics, but as far as I could tell none called out the Windows Plex player specifically, so I apologize if this is a duplicate.

There’s already an existing suggestion thread discussing an option to add this to Plex Web. The desktop app is built on the same client.

I suggest you comment/vote in that thread in order to help us avoid distracting or cannibalizing votes.

Unless I’m missing some unique aspect of your suggestion I’ll close this thread as a duplicate.
