Roku night mode transcoding to FLAC

I have a Shield server with a Roku as a client.

The other day with Night Mode on, I noticed the Roku could not scan/skip without excessive buffering or audio delays.

I hadn’t noticed but the Roku preview app is now transcoding to FLAC instead of AAC for Night Mode.

I turned Night Mode off and it’s playing fine again.

Anyone else experienced this? Any way to get it to transcode to AAC again?

Afaik Night Listening Mode changes the device to output 2.0 only that is why the app is requesting a transcode. but if you are willing to share your logs with night mode on and off we can see what is going on.
