[Root cause found] Server settings totally unavailable since 1.24.1.4931 for FreeBSD

Server Version#: 1.24.1.4931, 1.24.2.4973
Player Version#:

After I upgraded from 1.24.1.4930 from 1.24.1.4931, server setting is totally unavailable, so I went back to 1.24.0.4930 and stick there for a while.
Today I see new version 1.24.2.4973 came out, so I upgraded to this new version, and the issue still exist.

Please let me know if any logs would help.
Thanks.

Hi, with no response, I managed to find the root cause myself.

I tried to run start.sh manually, then it said

ImportError: Shared object “libxml2.so.2.9.10” not found, required by “etree.so”

I checked the uncompressed source directory, the file is there, but can’t be found by Plex.
After manually copying the file to /usr/local/lib/ , latest version of Plex Media Server (1.24.3.5033) seems to be running fine on FreeBSD.

Hope you can fix this as soon as possible.
Thank you.

Is almost as though no one read this post. My upgrades are broken in BSD.

Figured out the last piece. You need to have a symlink Plex_Media_Server pointing Plex Media Server.
